
Applicants to Bethany College of Missions are evaluated on the following areas:
Christian life and character
Must be a professing Christian
A demonstrable and genuine commitment to Jesus Christ
Able to articulate a desire to have a closer walk with the Lord
Ministry vision and calling
A passion to participate in what God is doing in the world
Considering missions as a career option.
Academic performance
Must be a high school graduate, with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 (or equivalent in countries other than the U.S.)
Home-school graduates are welcome and must meet the academic standards required for high school graduation in their state.
Applicants who have attended college previously must have a 2.0 cumulative GPA
International Applicants must demonstrate an ability to function at a high level of English proficiency (assessed via the TOEFL)
Fitness for our holistic approach to mission education, including practical training and overseas travel
Physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness, as assessed via application forms, personal testimony and references.
The compatibility of the applicant’s personal life situation with the demands of program requirements
Must not be engaged in drug or alcohol abuse.
Must not have excessive consumer debt (contact Admissions to discuss this)
